Another one of our art assignments was to design a header for our class blog for practice using Photoshop. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s “L.H.O.O.Q.”, I decided to add my own modern twist to an old classic. My design was chosen to be the actual header for the blog. Thanks to Michelangelo for letting me borrow “The Creation Of Adam”:

Speaking of blog headers, you may have been wondering whether or not I intentionally put that butterfly up there by the blog title. The answer is no. It was one of the default banners I could pick from and I liked the forest theme, but unfortunately the butterfly is, for some inexplicable reason, an integral part of that design. As soon as I get back to school and can use Photoshop again I’ll be making a more personalized header. Any ideas as to what should be on it?
