“Bubblegunk” May 18, 2012

I stumbled upon this comic book in a used bookstore and was immediately inspired to rip it apart and glue the pieces onto a canvas with rubber cement. The green smoke-like creature is something I drew in my sketchbook while traveling Europe last summer that I thought would make a good foreground for the bubblegum-pink backdrop. His tail-tips are meant to be pens inking the board behind him.
